Here’s a short video demonstration the voice activation control feature integrated into Windows Phone 7 and using the Tellme service that Microsoft acquire in March 2007.  Tellme was supposed to be integrated into Windows Mobile 6.5 but nothing really came out of this (other than on the Samsung Intrepid in the US) so it’s nice to see it now being fully integrated into the OS. Unfortunately there’s big chance that some of the voice activated controls will only be available to US/UK users this fall. Other countries will have to wait a little while (unless MS confirms to me that this isn’t the case that all shipping countries will have the ability to uses this service…).
