Our editorial-integrity rule
This is the line we do not cross, and it is the reason advertising with us is worth anything: commercial money never buys an editorial verdict. Advertisers do not decide what we cover, how we rate a product, or what we recommend. Sponsored content is always labelled as sponsored and kept separate from independent editorial. We will recommend a product that pays us nothing if it is the right answer, and we will decline to recommend one that would pay us if it is not. If that rule is a problem for a campaign, we are not the right partner — and our readers are exactly why.
