According to the BlueTooth SIG website the LG C900 Windows Phone 7 handset is expected to launch around September 28th. This could mean a early October given thatLG’s head of PR confirmed to me a few weeks ago that it wasn’t September. The first week of October is going to be the most probable and earliest launch window for WP7 in EU (Steve Ballmer will be in Paris for a WP7 event on Octboer 7th, exactly one year after he launched Windows Mobile 6.5 at a similar event in Paris too). So get your wallets ready for a flood of Windows Phone 7 handsets this October. The US launch is widely expected to take place a few weeks later (remember the leaked T-mobile roadmap pointing to a November 17th for the HTC Schurbert). The final development tools are only going to be available on September 16th and apps submssions will start in early October so don’t expect any WP7 device on the market in September.
