Everybody’s favorite Android / Windows Mobile handset maker just posted a nice $440 Million net profit this past year. But on a yea-to-year basis it fell 5.03%:

HTC (High Tech Computer) has posted revenues of NT$14.07 billion (US$440.8 million) for December 2009, down 1.67% sequentially but up 3.61% on year, according to the company. Revenues for all of 2009 reached NT$144.88 billion, declining 5.03% from a year earlier.

For 2009, unaudited operating income reached NT$24.23 billion, total incomes before tax were NT$25.26 billion, and net incomes after tax stood at NT$22.65 billion, with an EPS of NT$28.77, the company said.

For the fourth quarter of 2009, total revenues reached NT$41.08 billion, down 13.29% on year. After-tax profits for the fourth quarter stood at NT$5.58 billion, translating into an EPS of NT$7.07, the company added.
