Looks like we are going to be stuck for a while with the lamest feature ever in Windows Phone 7:  the infamous unsaved camera settings feature. As I’ve pointed out a couple of days ago after trying out the NoDo based emulator image, the “feature”  (yes, feature..according to Microsoft) is still present in the OS. Apparently it is still being discussed internally so were are probably going to have to wait until Mango is released this fall…. if we are lucky.

Regarding the camera settings: it was a decision by the team thinking that if you pulled the phone out to take a quick pic, it would be better to know it was always in a default setting rather than having to remember what the settings were the last time you took a picture, so shooting for predictability. That said, feedback from folks like you has the team seriously looking at that option to see if there is a more optimal option. thanks again..
