We already know for sure that Microsoft is planning to hold several Windows Phone 7 related events at the beginning of October but the retail date of availability of the Windows Phone 7 devices is still a mystery. A Microsoft Windows Phone 7 raffle contest in Germany apparently mentions the October 21th date in the Terms and Condition document. This means that the winners of the Windows Phone 7 devices will receive them on Oct 21th. Interestingly this date fits perfectly with the 42 Week availability (October 18 – 24) of the HTC HD7 that leaked yesterday.
