According to Zatsnotfunny Sling is currently working on an iPad and Windows Phone 7 Series version of their SlingPlayer for Mobile streaming  application (and Android version is also scheduled for a summer launch). The Windows Phone 7 version will supposedly use Silverlight (for the the video & UI? or just the UI?) while the iPad version will stream H.264 content. The company is also taking the mobile client video resolution up beyond 320×240.

When it makes a noticeable difference in quality, we will definitely provide higher resolution streaming. The iPad is a good example of a device where we are hard at work on this, but unfortunately it won’t be there at the April launch.
