Flickr has just announced the Flickr for Windows Phone 7 and Windows 7 applications today. Both apps are fully touch enabled and give you the ability to browse, navigate and manage your Flickr photos collections on your Windows Phone 7 and Windows 7 slate device:

•Share photos with friends and family via email, Twitter, Facebook and more
•Upload your latest images on the go with the in-app uploader
•Seamlessly transition from your Windows Phone 7 to Windows 7 tablet and back again, without ever losing your place

The Flickr Applications for Windows 7 and Windows Phone 7 will feature embedded connected-device synchronization for sharing content between the two device types – built by leveraging RSS feeds as well as the Windows Azure platform. The state of the application will be stored in the cloud, facilitating a seamless consumer experience across Windows Phone 7 and Slate devices. Regardless of the device the consumer is using to access Flickr content, the consumer will see the same context, the same photo and same state of the application.
Both applications aren’t available yet but are scheduled to launch on January 31.
