Zune Software updated to increase performance and fix update manager

The Zune desktop software has just received a new update (but the version number seems to remain the same). As far as I can see there’s no new features other than a significant boost in performance compared to the previous version. Just open your Zune client, go into the settings menu and hit the update checker option to install it. Still no NoDo Windows Phone 7 update in sight thought but it should take long hopefully (but don’t hold your breath..). Update: Check out the change log after the break:

RESOLUTION

You will have to update the Windows Mobile Device Updater (ZuneWmdu.dll) compone…You will have to update the Windows Mobile Device Updater (ZuneWmdu.dll) component of the Zune software to version 4.7.1407.0 or later versions. This software update is intended for use with Zune 4.7 software and is covered by the terms in the Zune 4.7 End User License Agreement (EULA). By downloading this update you agree to the terms of the accompanying Zune 4.7 EULA.
