Warnygo is a Geolocalization application being developed for Windows Phone 7 and taking part of the developer contest currently held in France (just like my application here). Somewhat similar to the famous AroundMe application on the iPhone, Warnygo adds a little twist by giving the user the ability to post/send a Warny (warning) about what’s happening around them. You also have the ability to subscribe to feeds dedicated to a certain subject so you will be alerted when somebody post/send a Warny about it. Here’s the full pitch followed by a video of the application:

Imagine…… An application that alerts you about an event, an attraction, or something really special that is going on near you. Imagine…. Share any of common interests with hundred people, who are very closed to you but you don’t even know?
Very simple uses: If you are in a perimeter where something that you’ve subscribed for is going on, you got a Warny that explain to you what’s about and how to get there. In the opposite, if you are the actor of one event, you may want to share it by sending a Warny and warn any person who wish to be notified about an event like this, as long as they are in the same perimeter.
