Contrary to what the naysayers may say the Windows Phone 7 platform is becoming a hit with developers. Sure some of the big names like Skype, Mozilla aren’t on board yet because of the current lack of some APIs and Native access but a wast majority of the well known dev houses and some upcoming startups aren’t afraid to bet on Microsoft’s mobile OS. Singaporean company Above Solutions, makers of TangoFX; a context aware Interactive HD service that provides live and on-demand cinematic experiences for viewers to watch shows/movies/videos anywhere, anytime and on any screen (mobile, PC, Kiosks, and HDTV) has announced the development of a Windows Phone 7 application a few days ago:
Through the Microsoft BizSpark program, ABOVE worked closely with Microsoft to develop TangoFX and create a world-class media application for the upcoming Windows Phone 7 platform.
