The official Groupon application for Windows Phone 7 which was announced back in February at MWC11 has just been released in the Marketplace. The application unfortunately only works in Canada and the US. Here’s its description:
Groupon features unbeatable deals each day on the best stuff to do in cities across the U.S. and Canada. With our Windows Phone 7 app you can buy deals, access your purchased Groupons, find the ones that are nearby, and redeem them electronically. Never print another Groupon!
The application will either use cell/wifi triangulation or the device’s GPS receiver to locate you and display the nearby deals. You can download it directly from here.
