The “official” fix for the “Walshed” Windows Phone 7 devices is now out. As I said in the previous post about this issue only a few phone’s seem to be affected by the update problem so this utility is only for those of you who still can’t get the 7392 security update after applying the ChevronUpdater update hack to get 7390 Nodo.

First you’ll have to download the following files and install them:

Win32: Windows Phone Support Tools & “Walshed” Phone Support Tool

Win64: Windows Phone Support Tools & “Walshed” Phone Support Tool

Then, select the right language installed on your handset.

Update: Just to be perfectly clear; this fix doesn’t apply to WP7 handsets updated via the VPN trick.
