Dell had their upcoming Dell Venue Pro Windows Phone 7 handsets available for some long hands-on action during the Dell a media event held in Singapore 4 days ago. There isn’t much to learn from this preview other than a lot of pictures and a couple of hands-on videos of the device in action. As you can see in my WP7 hardware specification chart the Dell Venue Pro is the bulkiest (and heaviest) device currently announced. This should be taken into consideration when looking at all the WP7 offerings. The vertical sliding keyboard is definitely a nice touch but other than that the Samsung Omnia 7 or Focus which has a Super-AMOLED screen (compared to the regular AMOLED on the Venue Pro) is probably a better choice.
