Well it looks like Google is about to announce some interesting stuff related ot their Android mobile platform on January 5th. It probably has something to do with the HTC Nexus One.

With the launch of the first Android-powered device just over a year ago, we’ve seen how a powerful, open platform can spur mobile product innovation. And this is just the beginning of what’s possible.

Please join us in Mountain View on January 5, for an Android press gathering.

Not to sound like a broken record here…but with all the hype surrounding this event (and the Nexus One / “Google Phone“) , the Apple Tablet rumors (and rummoed announced in early January..), what the hell is Microsoft doing with Windows Mobile? Is Steve Ballmer going to announce anything new during his Keynote at CES (on the same day as Google’s event!)?
