The day has finally come and Sony Ericsson just announced their first Android handset, the Xperia X10. As it has been rumored the devices sports a Qualcomm SnapDragon chipset clocked at 1ghz (Qualcomm 8250), a 4″ capacitive 854×480 touchscreeen, 8.1Mpx camera and a new Android UI (running on top of Android 1.6). Unfortunately as of today the device is totally unusable according to the videos posted below. This is obviously pre-production software and hardware but I find it sad that SE thought it was right to show the world such an un-finished product. One has to wonder if it will be ready for the Q1 2010 release (knowing SE the device will probably be delayed a couple of times).
