Fill this under the “rumor” tag or better yet the “I’ve been sick all weekend and there was nothing else to post about” tag. According to the good folks at the WPDev podcast (who been right and a tiny bit wrong in the past), the Windows Phone 7.5 Mango roll out will apparently start next week. There’s unfortunately no thing to back up this claim other than the fact that what appears like the final HTC Mango firmwares have recently leaked alongside a carrier release candidate firmware for the Samsung Omnia 7.
UPDATE: AT&T has official announced that its Mango roll out will start “this fall”.
So all you have to do is stay calm sit tight and remember that the official word has always been this fall. Remember that the Build conference will also start in a few hours so you can expect quite a bit of Windows Phone (and obviously Windows 8 ) info in the coming days.
