Just like Apple before the OS 3.0 update, Microsoft is not going to allow turn-by-turn application to be sold through the Windows Mobile Marketplace. I can’t figure out why the heck would Microsoft do this (after the fact that Apple no allows such apps) givin’ that one of Windows Mobiles strength has always been the availability of TomTom, Navigon and a truckload of other GPS navigation apps. Hopefully Redmond will lift this ban in the near future. But remember that unlike the iPhone you are not restricted to applictaions sold on the marketplace and can install any app you want.
