The much anticipated Windows Phone 7 version of Evernote is now finally available on the Marketplace (for free). This new version thankfully supports all of the services features that are available on competing platforms with the only difference being the use of the Metro style UI and Bing Maps for mapping your notes (using GPS or Cell triangulation). You can read about all the great features directly on the Evernote’s blog and download the app from the Marketplace here.

Unfortunately the application seems to suffer from a deal breaking bug that the prevent potential user from creating an account thus rendering the whole thing totally useless. Evernote is aware of the issue and is currently working on a fix. UPDATE June 18: An application update has just been released to fix the crashing issues. I must admit that I’m disappointed that the application doesn’t run-under the lock-screen though.
