The latest words on the streets is that the hotly anticipated Nokia Lumia 920 is set to launch in early November in most of the big countries worldwide (UK, Germany, France etc) and more precisely November 2nd in the US on AT&T’s network. (remember that WP8 is said to officially debut on October 29th) Smaller countries should see it landing later in the month or in the beginning of December. The just launched EE network in the UK (composed of Orange and T-Mobile LTE infrastructure) will offer the Nokia Lumia 920 LTE and Nokia Lumia 820 LTE as exclusives for a period of time.

Verizon has also announced that it will carry several Windows Phone 8 handsets later this year and that one of them should be a Nokia device. Eveything seems to point out that it will be the Lumia 820 and that the 920 will be exclusive to AT&T at first.

Keep in mind that besides the EE Network announcement the rest is not confirmed yet. As you have probably already noticed that Lumia 920 not still not ready for prime time and Nokia’s engineers are still hard at work to get the camera fully functional before launching the device. Apple’s iPhone 5 imminent launch isn’t going to help the Finnish company either even if the Lumia 920 turns out to be the better product.
