Booklet3Gs

Now this was unexpected! Nokia just unveiled the Booklet 3G, a mini-laptop (they don’t want to call it netbook)running Windows 7. Remember a few days ago, Nokia and Microsoft partnered in the mobile space to bring the full Office suite to Nokia smartphones. It now looks like the two companies are becoming best buddies. The specs of the Booklet 3G are also really nice, it packs 3G connectivity in addition to WiFi, bluetooth and GPS (A-GPS). Seamless integration with the OVI services and also offers a 10.1-inch “HD” display and an HDMI port for HD video out. The CPU/Chipset is an Intel Atom (not much else is known) and has an aluminum chassis, measures just 10.4? x 7.3? x 0.8? inches thick, and weighs 2.75 pounds.

There are still more details to come at Nokia World 09 on 2 September.
