If like me, you always wondered why Microsoft never actually promoted Windows Mobile the right way, then you may have a chance to express yourself. Long Zheng over at Istartedsomething found out that Microsoft is currently planning a large-scale worldwide advertising campaign starting October 1 to promote the launch of Windows Mobile 6.5..errr Windows Phones. This time Redmond wants you to help them promote Windows Mobile :

In October, Microsoft will launch the new version of Windows Mobile, Windows Operating System Phone, the smartphone platform dedicated to the Redmond.

ZOOPPA.COM community (over 40,000 users worldwide) is called to work on the key elements of the Windows Phone Communication. The challenge will cover all the creative fields: in fact, users will be invited to create videos, print ads, audio ads, banners and concepts: a cool contest!

From August, 5 to October 5, 2009 users can upload their creations on ZOOPPA.COM, and compete for the total prize of $ 14,000 that Microsoft has put up for grabs.

Good luck!
