SoloPalmari just posted Part 3 (Part1/2) of their HTC HD2 p/review (unsing non-final harware and beta ROM). This time they took a look at the web browsing experience, multimedia features and battery performance. Here’s what they say about the Opera Mobile 9.7 browser (google translation):

Much more advanced and efficient instead Opera Mobile (here in version 9.7).With an excellent performance of ‘HTC HD2 browser gains in fluency and speed, the rendering of data and dowload as in the so-called “pan” (move the window in the far and wide with his fingers). In addition, the browser is immediately aligned to the unique features of the display ’s HD2, becoming compliant with the multitouch feature: with a pinch, and with his movement not, you can zoom and enlarge the view at will (depending on who still can practice but not with the same efficiency and versatility, even through the double tap on the touchscreen).
On balance, the coupling between HTC HD2 and Opera Mobile offers Internet experience rewarding and productive, far exceeding that of any Windows Mobile smartphone tested in laboratories SoloPalmari to date, and almost equal to the best competitors. Almost, we said, because the application of Opera Software and the same operating system from Redmond have some way to go before we can really compete with the Web surfing devices offered by Android, by some Symbian, iPhone 3GS and application to Maemo 5.
