HTC apparently isn’t the only handset manufacturer scheduled to unveil something on September 1st (the first day of the IFA convention in Berlin). Samsung has also launched a short video teasing campaign about the Samsung Unpacked event which is set to take place on this day. As you will see in the videos after the break the mysterious device is undoubtedly a phone but the OS is still a mystery (also the Bada and Android versions of the Samsung unpacked application are promoted at the very end). The waves and beach in the videos could also hint at the release of a new Samsung Wave / Bada phone too. Guessing is all we can do right now.

Samsung is set to launch several Mango handsets this fall: the SGH-I937 in the US (and surely a EU variant) and the Samsung GT-I8350.
