Nokia has just announced that the company’s annual Nokia World conference will take place in London on October 26 and 27. As you may have already guessed this is probably were the company’s first Windows Phone 7 handset will be launched (I wouldn’t be surprised if it was announced a few weeks prior to the event just to generate some buzz). In case you don’t remember, Microsoft officially told me back in May during the Mango VIP event that there most probably won’t be a single launch day for all Mango devices and that OEMs will be free to roll their new handsets as soon as they are ready. If this turns out to be the case then it’s safe to assume that some of the other Windows Phone manufacturers will try to unveil their Windows Phone 7 Mango powered device before Nokia.

It should also be pointed out that this first Nokia Windows Phone device will be available in limited quantities and not in all countries.
