Can’t wait until September 5th to see what Nokia is cooking? Well, here are the first renders and pictures of two Windows Phone 8 handsets that NOkia is supposedly going to unveil next week. The first one seen above is the Nokia Lumia 920 PureView high-end WP8 devices which is said to sport a 4.5″ screen and a PureView camera (but don’t expect a 41Mp sensor like the Nokia 808). Screen resolution is not know but I would be surprised if it was 1280×768 instead of 720P. This the increased width could be used for added on screen buttons which could be especially useful in camera mode to make full use of the PureView technology.

The second handset is the Nokia Lumia 820 which is the direct successor of the Lumia 800. Not much is know about it yet (not even the screen resolution which could very well still be 800×480 but I4m betting on a 720P panel). The prototype pictured below is said to have only 512MB of ram and a 4.3″ display. Speaking of panel I think that it is also safe to assume that those handsets probably won’t have Super AMOLED HD panels given that Samsung usually retains a 1 year exclusivity on its latest screen tech before offering it to OEMs (the Galaxy Nexus which was the first to sport one isn’t 1 year old yet)
