More than two weeks ago, HTC released a patch fixing some security issues with their own bluetooth drivers found on the Touch HD/Diamond/Pro. Today the support page was updated with the following :
Hotfix to enhance the security mechanism of Bluetooth service for HTC Touch Diamond/Touch Pro/Touch HD/Touch 3G/Touch Cruise/S740.
This hotfix enhances the security mechanisms of the Bluetooth service to make the Bluetooth communication more secure.
So it now looks like the Touch 3G/Cruise/S740 were also affected by this problem and have now been fixed.
