Looks like the first promotional video for the Nokia Lumia 920 has official been released through Nokia’s YouTube channel today in hopes to generate some much needed buzz prior to the device’s launch earlier next months. This short video’s principal goal is to get people talking given that it directly takes a jab at all the new and future iPhone 5 owners and barely shows/talks about the Lumia 920 at all. The main them here is: more colors = better choice and differentiation for the end users. Not sure that this would be effective though.. Anyway just hit the break to watch it in its HD glory.
Based on my talk with Nokia last week the WP8 advertising campaign will primarily be handled by Microsoft (unfortunately) who hopes to create a compiling story with Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 this holiday season. I personally think that Microsoft totally sucks at marketing anything other than its Xbox brand so I’m not getting my hopes…let’s just hope that they prove me wrong…
