HTC todays reported their August 2009 revenues. They’ve posted revenues of NT$11.35 billion (US$344.98 million) for August 2009, up 4.8% sequentially but down 10.7% on year. The Windows Mobile 7 delay (which impacts the introduction of high-end devices) combined with the current economic situation obviously didn’t help them. HTC is said to be focusing on shipping more low-cost high volume devices in Q4 2009.

For the first eight months of 2009, revenues reached NT$91.97 billion, edging up 0.6% from a year earlier, said the company.

The combined revenues of NT$22.18 billion for July and August accounted for 65.2% of the company’s low-end revenue target of NT$34 billion for the third quarter of this year, the data revealed.
