It was only a matter of time before Layar, the well known augmented reality application on the Android platform, came out on the iPhone. Obviously the app is only compatible with the 3GS (other iPhones and iPod Touch don’t have a digital compass). Now let’s see if it ever sees the light on Windows Mobile given that the latest Windows Phones like Samsung’s Omnia II and HTC HD2 have digital compass on board.
