ZDnet Asia just posted a short write-up about the newly announced Garmin-Asus M10 Windows Mobile 6.5.3 smartphone. There isn’t much to learn from it besides the actual price of the device which is said to be around $354. The M10 is also expected to be launched soon in Taiwan (and in mid-march in Asia).
One of the complaints we had about the M20 was its small 2.8-inch VGA display which makes in-car navigation impractical. The new M10 improves on this with a 3.5-inch touchscreen, which should help when you need to take a quick glance at the map while driving.
Another impressive specification on the M10 is its 512MB RAM. That’s a lot of memory for running applications and should go some way in making the device more responsive for users. Furthermore, there’s 512MB ROM for installing apps, another 4GB of storage built-in and even a microSD card slot if you need even more space.
